Wedding FAQs

  • When is the best time to get my bridal nails done?

You need to make sure that you have your bridal nail appointments booked well in advanced in order to secure your desired dates. Gel nails do not need to be done on the day of the wedding, I would advised the day or a few days before. You then just need to follow the aftercare advise to keep them looking their best.

Ideally, get in touch once you have your wedding date and venue secured and we can plan your appointments to suit.

  • What style of bridal nails should I get?

It can be difficult to decide what style of nails to choose for your wedding day. It is a good idea to book an appointment beforehand as a trial. I can help you find the perfect shape, length and design to suit you and your individual style for your unique hand painted wedding nails. I will make an inspiration board for you to make sure that your nails subtly complement your dress, colour scheme, flowers etc. I have years of wedding and occasion experience and always keep up-to-date with current bridal trends so you will be in safe hands.

  • Do I need to book a trial?

Ideally, yes! This lets me get to know you better so that I can best advise you and allows you to try out wedding nail designs on your own hands rather than just a finding a Pinterest photo which could look completely different on your nails on the day. You are also welcome to book a few appointments in the months running up to the wedding if you want to try out different ideas or grow your nails with builder gel. Obviously if you are travelling to get married in the Trossachs this might not be possible, but don’t worry, we can work around that.

  • Can I book appointments for my bridesmaids, mum, spouse etc?

Yes, it is best to book everyone at once as I do get very busy and can’t always squeeze in extras nearer the time. You can either come together or separately, whatever suits best. Also, make sure you book all of the services that you require for yourself. For example, brides often forget to book a soak off for there old nail set. So book yourself a pre-service removal when you are booking your nails.

  • When should I start a natural nail growth journey to grow my nails for the wedding?

If you want to start growing your nails for the big day then you need to book appointments starting at least 3 months beforehand (if possible) and attend regularly. I can hep you design a personalised nail care program to get your nails looking their best and advise on at home aftercare.

  • Will you come to the venue to do my nails on the morning of the wedding?

This isn’t necessary. Wedding mornings are busy enough with hair, make up and getting dressed. Your bridal gel nails can be done the day or a few days beforehand to help ease the stress on the big day. It is a good opportunity to chill out in the run up to the wedding or bring your bridesmaid and do some last minute planning while I do your wedding nails.
